Regular events list on viewer log-in splash page?

This is another suggestion from the Kitely Community Meeting on 1 February 2015.

Some grids include a list of forthcoming events on a dynamic log-in splash page. This might be tricky to do -- a long way down on the to-do list.

An alternative might be for the community to plan a set of weekly events always at the same time each week, and have brief notes on these on the static log-in splash page.

For example:
Kitely Community Meeting
Sunday, 1 pm Pacific, Kitely Welcome Center
Metaverse Tour
Saturday, 1 pm Pacific, Kitely Welcome Center

If Seanchai Library, Roxy and Hypergrid Academy have events that always occur on the same day and at the same time each week, they too might be added.

Then these regular events might also be advertised with more details inworld in the area next to the KWC landing area. The boards could be static (to avoid adding work), but clicking them could open the map to where they take place.
