You need a Kitely account to list items in Kitely Market but you don't need to be a paying Kitely customer. Merchants can use the official Kitely Merchants Sandbox to upload items into Kitely (there is no upload fee in Kitely): http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Ila ... ts-Sandbox
Your friend can create an account for listing in Kitely Market and either use that avatar for visiting the hypergrid or using an avatar from another hypergrid-enabled grid to do so.
