Re: We need Edwardian and Victorian Clothing

I found this great video with actual clothing pieces so you can see the fabric. The first part is old black and white photos but later they show actual items in color.

Re: We need Edwardian and Victorian Clothing

Chris and Zippidy, Thank you both so much!! I'm so excited and grateful that you are considering this period. I've been so worried that I'd have a community without period clothing. I love all periods really, I'm a bit of a history buff in all areas really but art, design, fashion and particularly a...

Re: We need Edwardian and Victorian Clothing

I agree, and thank you. It's whatever you want to do. Anything from right around the turn of the century to WW1 will work in Coopersville. I have to be flexible because there is a difficulting in finding everything from clothing to vehicles. I like how Art Nouveau (which is my favorite design period...

Re: We need Edwardian and Victorian Clothing

Wonderful Zippidy, I'm excited to see your creations! Wonderful that you will have menswear and childrenswear too. It's a good idea to attach hair to the hat, it would be really hard for consumers to make them work as separates. The embroidery was really beautiful, I agree. The eveningwear was so mu...

Coopersville Edwardian Community - A Sneak Peek

Hi :) As many of you already know I've been creating Coopersville for around 6 months and I'm still not quite finished, getting close though. I thought it would be fun to give everyone a sneak peek so that it wouldn't be so abstract when I mention it. I really love the Edwardian Era because it was l...

Hi Zippidy, Great observation! The don't let you upload a photo to this forum, it has to already be online and you can copy the url, highlight it with your mouse then click the "link" icon above where you type. I would love to see the picture you have. Between 1900-1908 there wasn't to much of a cha...
