Re: Trouble exporting / .dae
Many thanks for going to all that trouble Graham, as it sounds terribly complicated that way. I used to simply save as a .dae and then upload using mesh model and it always worked. But as I mentioned, I haven't tried that in over a year and perhaps things are simply not the same in OS. And I underst...

Re: Trouble exporting / .dae
Thanks Selby and Ilan. I did read through the article. My permissions are always set with everything ticked, so it's not a problem of not being able to give people creations across the HG. I'm actually trying to turn a few prim-heavy builds into mesh uploads via .dae. I have done this successfully a...

Re: Trouble exporting / .dae
aah, I see. Thanks for the response, Ilan.
But I don't build my things for the Market, just for myself and anyone who would like a copy. So I can't really build in Kitely at all if I want my builds to have export rights.
I guess this has nothing to do with my collada problems then either...

Trouble exporting / .dae
Hello folks, I was in the sandbox today and tried to save a build of mine as a collada - 30 prims total, each prim and texture is my own. When I go into edit and the collada window comes up, it shows the Exportable prims as 1/30 and Exportable textures as 1/2. Also, I cannot set the permission of an...

Re: Best viewer for open sim?
Thank you Louis and Graham for your input. I uninstalled Alchemy after a last try with hypergridding yesterday and installed Firestorm. Funny getting used to that interface again (can't find a darn thing!), but it works a dream, so I guess I'll have to stay with it for now. Many thanks again. Louis:...

Re: Best viewer for open sim?
Thanks Selby.
Seems Alchemy-new is causing others problems too. Shame, as I do like Alchemy, but there is little point being in open sim if I can't hypergrid anymore!

Best viewer for open sim?
Hello folks,
I'd like some opinions on which viewer people prefer using on open sim.
I'm currently using Alchemy, but since the recent update, can't hypergrid anymore.
Not sure whether Firestorm or Singularity better serves my needs (stability, photography, building)
Any ideas?

Re: Problems hypergridding
Thank you everyone for your help and to those who took the time to hypergrid those regions. I believe the HG problems began with the new version of Alchemy, so I'm deleting it. Would like to here some ideas about which viewer works best for most folks in OS, but I'll post that question in another th...

Re: Problems hypergridding
Hi Ilan, I had been using the welcome Center until the problem occurred and then I switched to the sandbox because I'd managed to reach Tangle for a couple of days from there. I've tried the old Alchemy viewer and just tried Singularity with the same issues occurring. May download Firestorm tomorrow...

Problems hypergridding
Hello, I've been having issues with hypergridding in the past few days. I usually log into the Kitely Sandbox and TP from there, but I keep getting timed out or the following message: Service Request Failed "ConnectFailure" - Connection Refused Sometimes I manage to TP into Wrights Plaza (osgrid), b...
