Re: Asking a favor of my fellow Kitelians...
Thank you Frank for your visit and your suggestions. I completed a description of the islands, and turned on scripts as you suggested. As far as the NPC's, I think I'm going to use "mostly" static ones, and will probably have to re-create myself a number of times to get the required dynamic folks. I...

I like that idea - maybe set up a few mysteries or treasure huntsSelby Evans wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 5:37 pmInteresting idea. You might get more interest if you pose the NPCs to make stories. You can amplify the stories with notecards placed in nearby objects.

Re: Asking a favor of my fellow Kitelians...
I visited there but the poseballs said I did not have permission to use them. I think the destinations on the entry page are there because someone recently went there, causing them to rez. If you pick one as your destination, you will usually not have to wait for it to rez. I think i've fixed the p...

Asking a favor of my fellow Kitelians...
Originally coming from SL back in its hayday, I've never gotten use to the lack of visitors to my sims. It gets pretty lonely sometimes. Now that "we have the technology" to create NPC's, I thought it would be worth the effort to create a region of islands that "appeared" populated when people visit...

Re: Finding NPCs...
Thank you Graham and Selby. I happened across a similar script, and managed to get rid of him. Since I'm only experimenting, it wasn't a big deal to erase all 4 of them lol. I do wonder though, is there a good source for "single" animations with NPCs simply standing, sitting, talking, etc. Most all ...

Re: Finding NPCs... Problem...
Ok, ran into an issue that I need help with... I was playing with cloning myself with different animations, and ran into one that popped up an error message about not finding "something". I tried to delete the NPC but managed to delete the pose ball instead. Now I have my clone just standing there a...

Re: Finding NPCs...
I found two alex chandlers in search so I sent stuff to both of them. Hope it all helps. Thank you for forwarding me the pieces and parts of the NPC kit :) From reading through the instructions, am I correct in concluding that the script will basically attach any animation to whoever clicks on the ...

Re: Finding NPCs...
It's easy to make these. JUst teleport to The Paramour shopping district and pick up the NPC kit there. Read the directions. It's super easy. refugegrid.com:8002:paramour shopping Thank you Freda for the link, but it seems the link is no longer active? I ran into that link once before and it didn't...

Finding NPCs...
Forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong place... Traveling around Kitely as well as the hypergrid, I've noticed many various "static" avatars placed on sims to "populate" the environment. Some of these were free to copy, and some were not. just recently, I was at a sim (and I didn't landmark it ...
