A tidal range on region water
My human lives in Plymouth UK, where, if you head due south, you are bound to encounter large quantities of seawater. One of the most interesting features of this water is that it goes up and down frequently, regularly and predictably, making significant changes to the landscape as it does so. Peopl...

Re: Terraforming coastline
Yes, I did try that, but the land towards the north west corner kept reverting when I moved on.Ilan Tochner wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 7:51 pmHi Brendan,
Have you tried selecting area then flattening it?

Re: Terraforming coastline
I didn’t need the bulldozer for the south and west coastlines. I used the flattener tool and terraformed by hand and that all worked just fine. When it came to the east and north coastlines, neither the flattener tool nor hand terraforming worked, so I assumed that the bulldozer wouldn’t work either...

Terraforming coastline
I'm inhabiting ReGen, a 16 region world, upgraded from 4 regions. I'm trying to reduce the coastline to one metre all around the edge so that I can alter region water height (from 19 metres to 13 metres). I have no problem terraforming along south and west edges, but seem unable to lower north and e...

Re: Day/Night Cycles in Kitely
I use a sun position sensitive script for various types of lighting, but wasn’t exactly sure how long a day is in Kitely. Conducting tests over several hours, now I know from empirical evidence and here are the results. Please note that I’m talking exclusively about the “Use Shared Environment” sett...

Re: Loading World Issue
Logged out, did something else for an hour and tried again. Not sure what happened in the meantime, but logged into Morbrenshire without any problems.

Re: Loading World Issue
I've spent over an hour trying to get into Morbrenshire. I was stuck at the transfer station so I logged out. Tried again 20 minutes later and was told that I couldn't log in because I was currently in the process of entering Morbrenshire. I read the forum posts and followed Ilan's advice. I cleared...

Re: We've updated Kitely to OpenSim 0.9.1.1
I've had a good look round at Morbrenshire. All textures (including transparent) seem to be working just fine. Landing point was where I expected. One script wasn't working, but a reset fixed that. Brendan appears to have developed a slight limp, but that just might be old age.

Re: Unable to download *.raw file
Hi again Ilan,
I won't bore you with the details, but the problem does arise from a clean install of Firestorm. The security software was denying permission. My bad.

Re: Unable to download *.raw file
Hi Ilan .. thank you for prompt reply. I've tried to allow the file to save wherever it wishes, with whatever name it likes. Every attempt has failed and caused that notification. However, your response would suggest that you're not aware of any issues, so I'll concentrate on the permissions structu...
