Re: Trains!!!!

Very cool. :)

I would've loved N scale, but HO was cheaper and more available. Plus, it was close enough to my Matchbox cars in size so I could make the whole layout work.

Re: Trains!!!!

woohoo, looks like so much fun!

My build is pre-steam power (bronze age/medieval theme) but I grew up playing with HO model railroads. You're making me nostalgic! :D

Re: Trains!

I've seen train sets...somewhere. You might need to do some hypergridding to find what you're looking for. Maybe try Adachi? I can't recall where I last saw them. Re: Introduce Yourself...

Welcome, Paul! Sounds like a fun place, and I look forward to seeing it get built. You're absolutely right: way more bang for your buck with open sim! I shudder to think about the literal thousands of dollars I spent in tier to LL over the years before finally making the switch. There's no going back!

Re: Host a virtual event with thousands of users in Kitely

Outstanding, Ilan and Oren!

This could really catapult Kitely into a brand new league.

Congratulations, you guys. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these efforts you've invested pay dividends for years to come.

Re: Interesting article that astonishingly misses OpenSim

Interesting to see how "outsiders" are viewing these virtual world platforms.

And I agree, it's stunning to see open sim completely left out of that discussion! Though maybe also unsurprising, considering the lack of marketing of OS grids in general.

This is really great, Graham!

Are you available for hire by chance, for scripting projects?
