Re: AFRICA help wanted

Hello All, Seanchai will soon be working on an Africa venue for events, and exploration of literature. Would love any suggestions on decorations, appropriate trees/foliage, critters, features, etc. One of the features will be the Stone Circles of South Africa, such as Adam's Calendar - which is per...

I decided to make this set full perms for ease of use.
Just bought one. I love cool scripted stuff, being that I can't script. Wish there were lots more in the market. Thanks

Re: We've updated Kitely to OpenSim 0.9.1.1

I don't know if this had to do with the upgrade, but something weird is happening. I have 2 worlds. One I've had for over a year and one I just purchased. Started the new one for real life friends and family who are in quarantine, bored and never even heard about virtual worlds before. So I'm buildi...

Re: We've updated Kitely to OpenSim 0.9.1.1

Hi Kimm, Does the sunken streets problem repeat itself after you restart your world or was it fixed once you repositioned them? Hard to say, I immediately started fixing them. seems like nothing has moved today. I'll keep an eye on that for next couple of days. I thought at first it was something I...

Re: NPC users

Hi Kimm, NPC can create lag, but it really depends how you use them. In any case, now that we support them, our recommendation is to use scripted animesh avatars instead of NPCs. Doing so will enable your world to have more artificial avatars while creating less load on your world and people's view...

Re: Animesh

Hi, Here is a simple Animesh script I came accross. Any mesh Avatar (that you can wear) can be made into animesh. Pull mesh avatar out of inventory and onto the ground, click on it to edit. Under the features tab in edit menu, check the animated mesh box. Then add this script and one or more animati...

NPC users

I've been working on my New York City/Big Apple world for over a year now. It's been a labor of love and dig that Kitely is as affordable as it is, that I can build this big. I was, as many of you probably were, a SL kid from the beginning. I always gravitated to building, but could never afford to ...

Re: We've updated Kitely to OpenSim 0.9.1.1

Hi, I'm just replying for information sake, not to complain. Being that my land is pretty big and I'm finding stuff as I go along. Some of my objects textures have changed to clear, some of my raised streets in my city have sunk down a meter or so (which I don't mind saying has driven me a little ba...

Re: Animesh

Anyone have scripts for animesh? Try this... ////---------Script starts here ---- copy from here float animation_speed = 0.5; integer total_prims; integer link_counter; default { state_entry() { total_prims = llGetNumberOfPrims(); llSetTimerEvent(animation_speed ); } timer() { link_counter++; llSet...
