Re: Where Did All The Content Sites Go?
SOAS site is up but Ener's site is gone still. For me anyway. Anyone have contact with her to see if she's okay or what's up with the site? Or if she was distracted watching tv and messed up the whole db? :D Hope the site returns with Ener at the helm. Too great and valuable a resource to vanish thi...

Re: The Sinclaire Model Of Virtual World Commerce
I'm not saying all OS users don't buy. I'm saying that the SL model is going bye bye and content creators could make a lot more money, consistently, by adapting. Or don't. It was a suggestion. I see it's basically falling on deaf ears so...so be it. Delete it if you want. I don't think the core half...

Re: The Sinclaire Model Of Virtual World Commerce
And that roots out the heart of the issue. If it's not the same as "real" goods then it shouldn't be traded with "real" money. I realize the old paradigm of SL commerce is ingrained in all the long timers and I acknowledge that the new mesh products offered on the SL marketplace are much, much highe...

Re: NewWorldStudios Help
Serenity about not being able to log with Firestorm to your local grid. I've found that the problem was that Firestorm uses http://localhost:9000 for the loginuri. If your system is windows 7 or 8, 8.1 the solution is to create in Fireform a new login url that should be like this: http://127.0.0.1:...

Re: Where Did All The Content Sites Go?
I know Ener was going on hiatus but she didn't seem to indicate she was pulling the site down. Hopefully she's changing things up and not pulling it and vanishing like OS Creations. Hope she's all right.

Kitely World Domination
Just wondering if there's any plans for it and if not, would you consider it adding the world & user stats to the front page at kitely.com so people can keep up with the growth/progress, how many are logged in, that sort of thing. It'd be nice to know where all the people are.

Re: NewWorldStudios Help
Sure, it's all good provided you didn't invest time or money in Google Glass or, more distantly, Google Lively. At least Google Cardboard was recyclable. Google Matrix doesn't bear thinking about :? I get the point but had to say there's not a chance in hell Google's going anywhere...they've jumped...

Re: NewWorldStudios Help
This is what bothers me about Ener and SOAS...and OS in general...that eventually the only ones who understand it and can make it do neat tricks will either get too greedy or bored and drop it. Then OS vanishes like Ener and her site all of a sudden. :| Well, even mighty corporations like Google ar...

Re: NewWorldStudios Help
Agreed about NWS. I used to know its author slightly as I was based on his (now closed) grid for a while. My guess is that the number of premium subscriptions didn't meet expectations and he found a better use for his time. I'd imagine if he got on the ball and updated it, fixed the little issues a...
