I've used SL for 10 years and recently developed a region in Kitely as well. The big plus is the cost for an entire region vs SL, and certainly vs outrageous prices in Decentrand (which I've visited). And the quality of avatars, landscape, builds, etc is far better than Decentraland but very limited...
