Re: YouTube videos embedded directly in OpenSim no longer play

I’ve run into this a few times lately in OpenSim regions that used to rely on parcel media for background videos. From my side, it’s been pretty inconsistent: some videos work one day and then refuse to load the next, even though nothing on the sim itself changed. What helped a bit was switching to ...

Re: promotional video

That looks like a chill way to spend a rainy day! I actually enjoy making simple promo videos for my side projects, and recording the screen is the part I like most—I get to mess with overlays and add notes while capturing. For editing, I usually go with tools that keep things easy and quick, so I ...

Re: Looking for a Real Estate Agent pay + benefits

I’ve never worked in virtual real estate, but I have rented out properties in the real world, and having someone manage tenants and sales makes a huge difference. Finding the right people to rent in a niche community like this can be tricky, but the right approach could be a terrific way to build up ...

Re: Kitely Christmas Parade & Party videos (updated)

The videos look great! Editing can definitely be tricky, especially when you’re trying to adjust music while keeping the original vibe. I’ve been there, and finding the right balance between visuals and audio is a challenge but so rewarding when it all comes together.

As someone who also edits ...

Re: Water height in OAR

Hey Alexina, I’ve run into something similar before when moving OARs between platforms. To get your world to match the 20m water height, you’ll need to lower the terrain a bit. I usually use the World Editor to adjust the heightmap or directly lower the land, but just keep in mind that you might ...

Re: Selling PBR assets

As of now, there’s no specific timeline for supporting PBR assets on Kitely Market. It would be great if they did, though, since PBR materials are becoming the standard. Keep an eye on updates, as they tend to announce new features on their blog.

Re: Cannot tp inworld or grid hop

I've had similar issues before, and clearing the cache helped me out. It can sometimes fix things if teleporting gets stuck. Also, I’ve had to reset my settings to default a few times when something went wrong, so it might be worth trying that too. If that doesn’t help, I’d suggest reinstalling ...

Re: Kitely winter fair 15 th of December

This winter fair sounds like a great chance to showcase your work in a festive setting! I’ve done a few similar events before, and they’re always a fun mix of networking and enjoying the atmosphere. The skating tour and the Dutch-themed city sound like they'll add a nice touch to the event. If you ...
