Re: Sinkholes and Terragen

I have seen sinkholes in a Kitely sim. I believe it was the work of the ODE physics engine, since shifting to Bullet cured it. Unfortunately, Bullet is a resource-hog so I can't recommend using it all the time (Kitely lets you chose).

Re: In Kitely Education

Reading is not the only alternative to classes. For example: Videos are widely used for tutorials. Posted on YouTube, they offer on-demand presentations to an unlimited number of users. They can be as much like a class as needed, except that they do not afford the opportunity to ask questions. A Q&A...

Re: In Kitely Education

I brought this topic up in today's meeting. I did not want to reinvent the wheel if there was already a process in place. There isn't. So.... One of the first things I learned in Second Life was that we work in the world of meters. For someone who grew up with feet and inches it was a startling dis...

Re: Introduce Yourself...

Hi All I've been lurking off and on for a few years here. Started my venture in virtual worlds back in 2003 with SL and finally saw the light and started leaving in 2016. Experimented with several of the grids and even Simonastick (still have Ruth nightmares but have sought therapy). Kitely is amaz...

Re: Can there be a "blank" landing page for schools

A good solution would be to create an educational landing page. Perhaps it could carry information relevant to education in Kitely. That would give a little product differentiation to Kitely as an education-friendly commercial grid.

Re: Is there an "UNDO" Button?? PLEASE HELP!!!

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, the problem is more than 24 hours old. I tried my best to resolve it myself before posting the question here. I have a RELATED question, though: The first house I bought and rezzed onto my 4x4 world built fine. No problems. I then bought 2 new houses from th...
