Re: Alternative day for Community Meetings?
Wednesdays are the best for me, and I do plan on making it to more meetings if that day and time stays. Sunday, no good. Ahem, much as I'd like to make it to HG Safari; it's a great program, it's not our fault they chose the day and time Kitely Mentors had already established. At today's Kitely Comm...

Re: Holiday Lights and Tree Scripts
Thank you Kayaker! Very useful and helpful explanation as well for a non-programmer like me. I have a suggestion - put your name at the first // so those of us working with open source builds (such as the Aley ones I'm importing to Kitely) can make sure credit is there and that people will look for ...

Re: Tutorial Series - Making Basic Mesh Prims
THANK YOU. I can build and rig a little in Blender, texturing entirely in PhotoShop. Adding materials to individual faces had me baffled.

Re: Parcel settings and sounds
possibility... There have been issues with this type of problem throughout the Meta. When you check the "Restrict gesture and object sounds to this parcel" sometimes you need to walk outside the parcel and walk back in for it to work, or, alternatively, TP to some other region and back, or another ...

Re: Parcel settings and sounds
Have you made sure to set your avatar's maturity rating to be higher than that of the region? (I'm assuming you have as you can hear sounds if they are not restricted to a parcel) Is this an Advanced Megaregion world? Yes - Cookie II is Mature and so am I, and it is an Advanced Megaregion world. Ada

Re: Parcel settings and sounds
I guess Ada is talking about scripted sounds rather than parcel media. I've noticed something similar on my regions, where scripted sounds can be heard a long way away from their supposed source. I'm not sure what to do about it though. Yes, sorry I wasn't clear. I'm talking about scripted sounds. ...

Parcel settings and sounds
Is there a way to restrict sounds by parcel in OS? When I click the box in parcel settings, all sounds stop, even if my av is standing right next to the thing. I want to do a little subdividing in the Arcadia Asylum library and display on Cookie II so that I can get the Arcade machines to only be he...

Re: Kitely donates $250 to help OSGrid recover from its cras
I think a lot of us are sending what we can. Why shame? Following Kitely's good example, I just donated USD$100 to OSgrid to help with the recovery process. Can I shame anyone else into doing the same? Must I get out a bucket of ice water? For a while I have had PayPal send them a recurring donation...
