Re: llSetPayPrice()

Oh, and thanks for pointing out where the Transaction History is on Kitely, carefully hidden as it was in the GREAT BIG NAVBAR ACROSS THE TOP OF THE SCREEN.

I've scheduled myself an eyesight test for tomorrow morning and a brain test for the afternoon.

Re: llSetPayPrice()

Interesting. I think I've narrowed it down to this - if you don't specify four items in the price list, it has the effect I described. That's reasonable, because the SL Wiki does say specifically: Four PAY_* constants and/or positive integer values . My vendor script from SL only had one item in tha...

llSetPayPrice()

Hi folks. The llSetPayPrice() function seems to be unavailable in the scripting engine Kitely is using - it stops the script event silently, like other functions which I assume are unported. I've tried different parameters to it, but it seems to crash the event regardless. This means that in-world v...

Re: Links in product descriptions.

OK, thanks for the clarification. I completely understand the reasoning behind this, and the links are by no means essential anyway, so away they go. :)

Links in product descriptions.

The editor for product descriptions has buttons for linking and unlinking, and linked text looks like links with coloured text, but when I view the product the links don't work. An example here: http://www.kitely.com/market/product/2835957/Handys-candle-system , the text "online instructions" about ...

Re: Introduce Yourself...

Been here over a week now, and finally saying hello to all (although I've already met some of you). I'm yet another content creator expanding into Kitely - my business is scripted systems for builders ( shameless plug ). So far, it seems you have an amazing community here, very friendly and helpful ...

Re: Asset UUIDs and other grids

Thanks, Oren. So presumably if a script is sold on Kitely Marketplace for use in another grid, that's using HG, and the textures and sounds will be copied.

I'm rather surprised and very delighted that this is the case.

Re: Asset UUIDs and other grids

Yes, I'm very glad the OAR files keep the existing UUIDs - it made moving my personal stuff between grids a lot easier - I had about a dozen regions full of stuff on OSGrid that I moved into my private grid a few years ago, and it was good to see everything just slot into place on the new grid. Well...

Re: Asset UUIDs and other grids

Somehow I missed this thread: http://www.kitely.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=799&start=10 where Oren says "it's perfectly valid to refer to assets from scripts by referring to inventory items. And that's better than hard-coding UUID's, because UUID's will not work if the item is Exported to anoth...
