Re: KWC 1.3: showcase worlds
Is there a Give URL-type sign to click on in the Showcase area that takes one to the Explore Worlds page on the Kitely website? A "To Find More Kitely Worlds, Click Here" type of thing? Added later... just went over to KWC to take a look and see if I could answer my own question. I did not see a URL...

Re: Kitely Griefing
Thanks Marstol. I'm pleased to help in any way I can. :) Here are two things that come to mind in making your sim/region/world griefer-proof that might not be obvious at first... Objects -Some of the free to use objects we pick up around the metaverse might have default permission settings we wouldn...

Re: Kitely Griefing
I am stating the obvious here but everyone should be reviewing their permission settings on Objects, About Land, etc. before Kitely switches on hypergrid. We will surely see griefers then. All you have to do is make it so visiting your region is not fun for the griefer. If there isn't much to do at ...

Re: Return To Devokan
I have now read every book on the shelves of my retreat in Kamar. I had already brought all the paperwork up to date; corresponded with Mr. Zeplin; toured the Ages, toured them again; picked up the odd prim that I must have left there eons ago (I wanted to say "ages" ago but I've already used that j...
Aquaetas
I opened a new world on Kitely over the weekend (details on that will be posted separately)...meanwhile, my "old" world on Kitely has a new name. Aquaetas has been on Kitely since November 2012. Until now, it was known as Evergreen. pronounced: ah - QWAY - tus from Latin, aqua: water aetas: age, sta...

Re: Understanding Kitely Prices
one thing i noticed on the most recent post of the chart...a Premium account is credited with 100,000 prims. I'm on one of the grandfathered plans so I haven't really studied the new plans but I believe that a Premium account holder's max prims would be either 200,000 or 500,000 depending on whether...

Re: Kitely will be down for a 1 hour upgrade cycle on April
Is the Explore Worlds "button" an exact replacement for Public Worlds or is there something different about the results under the new name? I was wondering about this yesterday. Would it be possible (or have you just done this?) to make it so an avatar will see in the results, all of the places he/s...

Re: Hypergrid Guide
Doesn't the grid owner have to do something to be in compliance with the 4096 fix? Like turn it on or something? Can you tell I'm no techie? :) I thought I read something last year about some aspect of this being on the grid's end of things. If so, then the 4096 bug isn't really fixed, in practice, ...
