Great question Oz! I use shadows. I have to have a high performance computer for my RL job so I am lucky I can turn up, and on all the toys in graphics.

Yep, I have started that process now.....blegh...... update...i spent some time in BallerNation tonight (and yes they are running 0.9). i did several tests using a collision model with one of my buildings, and was unable to get that to work. GCG? oh....cripes.....that isn't going to work on most of my buildings as they are scripted with color change menus and unlinking them will wreak havoc. The doors aren't the only issues either, the floors are phantom...walls not...so not sure why that is? as a workaround I made the building phantom ...

Thanks Ilan, will do! I am aware of the issues and have created them before. It will just be planes mostly. very very simple. BUT having read Gahelens' comments on using a physics model in another thread I am disheartened somewhat as it didn't solve the problem..... AND hearing that 9.0 will have ot...

That is reassuring to know for those of us on Kitely grid, Ilan. Thank you. However, the main point is that OpenSim 0.9.0 breaks a great deal of current, popular tools and content, as Aine's last paragraph makes clear: ... these exact same changes will break all existing MLP systems, all furniture/...

I was happy to find this thread but sad to see that making a physics model didn't solve the "can't walk through doors" problem....I have multiple structures on the BallerNation Grid and all of them have doors that can't be walked through and floors that are phantom. I believe they are running 0.9.0 ...

I know that is a problem Dot and I was thinking specifically of you when I amended my descriptions this morning. I amended the descriptions on my houses/structures (the only items I am taking off of export) to indicate that if you are on Kitely, GCG or Zangrid I will make sure an export version gets...

Thanks for the info and suggestion to do the disclaimer Ilan, but as you know people don't read so I am turning off export on all of my structures in order to avoid having to give out tons of refunds. Hopefully when/if my things work with 0.9.0 I can turn it back on :)
