Is there an RSS feed for stores so customers can track new additions? I have to say that I'm impressed by the general ease of use of the merchant interface -- the one thing I would change, however, is to bring the image management link closer to the image.
Thanks
Graham

Re: Microcystin by Graham
Thanks for the purchase, Miney, and good to hear that the export flag was properly set. I hadn't appreciated that I would get 9 KC from each sale but that's easily accounted for by visitor costs to Stuff even without the Hypergrid. I'm happy to see the molecules put to artistic as well as scientific...

VRsimility
Now the marketplace has hypergrid capability I decided to start distributing 10 KC "freebies" via the store of the above name. In the unlikely event that there is a deluge of hypergrid visitors to my regions, I may end up charging a little more to defray costs (I run metered worlds). The first produ...

Re: Hypergrid Guide
I was aware of the fix but I was, alas, using a slightly out-of-date version of Firestorm that didn't have it. I can confirm that it is now possible to jump from Zaius Plaza at around 10000,10000 to Jump4000 at 4000,4000 on OSgrid. Yipeee! :D Hi Graham, To my knowledge the 4096 bug has already been ...

Re: Hypergrid Guide
No, you only need them to access a location. It's basically the same as teleporting between grids.

will I need to set up TP boards to be able to receive HG guests or do I ony use them to jump from Kitely to other worlds?

Re: Hypergrid Guide
Ilan, that's a very sane proposal that you point to but (as it says) it's not what's out there, e.g. see http://www.osgrid.org/index.php/hypergrid . The fixing of the 4095 bug will help simplify matters as well. Ami, the best strategy is to find some good teleport boards -- I'm sure these will be po...

Hypergrid Guide
It has been a long while since I did any hypergridding so I thought it might be good if I started to compile a little guide: http://hypergrid1.tiddlyspot.com/
It has an emphasis on education and culture -- or will have when it's finished (which it never will be, of course).

Re: Are we building for nobody?
I should add that SL folk in particular are frequently keen to see recommendations made in profile picks if you are loitering in the KWC. It's easy to forget this (or is that just me?)

Re: Are we building for nobody?
I think it's all too easy to get distracted by the potential of virtual worlds -- the copious amount of space in Kitely encourages exploratory builds, many of which never see the light of day. Time spent on that means you often miss visiting other worlds or participating in social events. As an educ...

Re: OAR
An OAR file is a feature unique to OpenSim whereby you can export the terrain and content of the world to an external file that can subsequently be uploaded to the same or different grid. You can both import and export in Kitely at a minor cost. The export process will exclude any commercial items p...
