Re: Weefolk category at the KM listings?

"normal" waist height varies a lot. I got .8636 m (2'10") from the link you gave us in the Weefolk info note card, and rounded it up. Designers need a guideline they can build into their Blender files. I still have much of the last 2 pages to read but wanted to answer this. We is tinies. There is n...

Re: Dinkies ?

I'm kinda getting here late... but I knows Dinkies. Dinkies were created by Etheria Parrott and are the brand name of her line of mesh-body tiny avatars. I am the creator of Dinkie Dwagons , an officially-licensed Dinkie variation. There are numerous types of tiny avatar on the virtual worlds. Tinie...

Re: Weefolk category at the KM listings?

A Weefolk category would be good. Size however can be variable. Alternate suggestion is "shorter than normal waist-high", although judging a wee by height can be tricky because well, snakes, spiders, etc. Might need to leave that to general perception.

Re: For a limited time only: get a huge 64-region Mega World running on a dedicated server for just $99.95/month

A I appreciate your feedback but I'm afraid you missed a few conceptual problems... For example, world A has items that were rezzed by users who aren't the world owner, while world B contains content and activities that those users don't wish to be associated with... B ...we're not stopping anyone ...

Ilan: "That's why we aren't going to implement this feature unless we're sure it will contribute enough to our business to justify the significant effort and costs of doing so." Dwagon has feedback on this! (Imagine that! mwaahahahaha) I understand that merging worlds brings a whole lotta questions,...

Re: For a limited time only: get a huge 64-region Mega World running on a dedicated server for just $99.95/month

Hi Snoots, Kitely worlds are VarRegions, the server cost for additional empty land is in the amount of RAM required to hold the world's terrain and the additional parcels information. In other words, the empty land itself isn't much of a concern with the amount of RAM Kitely provides each world typ...

Re: For a limited time only: get a huge 64-region Mega World running on a dedicated server for just $99.95/month

That brings up a question I've wondered for some time Ilan: does bare land significantly impact the server? I don't mean the viewer, because if the land is beyond the draw distance it shouldn't impact the viewer. But how much impact does additional empty land have on a server? I suspect that questio...

Re: Textures rezzing very slowly

Hi Snoots, Was the world already cached in your viewer? Were there other avatars in that world when you ran your test? Yup and nope. I'd been in the world for some time, was studying the object (side of a house) for possibilities, and I was the only avatar on the world. As I've mentioned before, I ...

Well the good news on Tessin: I spoke to Trouble and she said it was the same Tessin... nothing added. So was right there. But apparently there was an external-server based script to handle an on-world game she had running, and it was specifically designed for the old Tessin (I don't have all the de...

Re: Textures rezzing very slowly

Additional information regarding texture loading performance: I was on Wellspring today trying to decide between eight textures on an object surface. As expected, it took about 15 seconds per texture to see each one on the object. What surprised me was when I went back through the textures again. In...
