Re: Community projects

I vote yes for community projects subforum also. We're lucky enough to have a lot of folks willing to volunteer. There should be a designated place to organize. The list of upcoming possible community projects is pretty exciting. Lots of potential in there for people to contribute, learn, and have f...

Re: Am I Just Stupid???

That New World dialog box still trips me up when I make a new world. You want the option on the far right.

Re: I was interviewed about Virtual Worlds and Writing---

Wonderful write up, congrats Freda. I love how you described what virtual worlds can offer. It's not just a hobby, it's about exploration and infinite possibilities and opportunities that are BIGGER than life! Well done.

Re: Are we building for nobody?

As a person who navigated virtual worlds with an old computer for a long time, the thing that made the biggest difference for me was to lower the draw distance . Navigating worlds takes longer with an old computer because you have to hold still long enough for things to rez. But if you get to a good...

Re: LIVE STORIES Sunday June 15, 2014 10am - "ISLAND TALES"

I have really been enjoying the Seanchai storytelling events. There is something so relaxing and comforting in having someone tell you a story. That goes for the Freda Posey events as well. I think this is a powerful and mostly untapped power of virtual worlds.

Re: Metaverse Tours Starting May 29

The tour was great. At least the small part I was on. The tour was led by Thirza Ember (who has a facebook page about it.) We met on OS grid at Ilha Magica. After introductions we went to Francogrid region called Avatar. There were at least 10 avatars standing around chatting in our area and even mo...
