No. It doesn't work. I forgot about the tiling. I'm not sure what I was thinking, that a texture could cover a whole land. I'm going to stop thinking. So read the page that Ilan sent and look into the land forms that Dot mentioned. Good to go.

Thank you Ilan and Dot. I think I might have found a way to put textures where I want on the land. If I were to take the textures and change a section on them. Matching up of coarse. Then use those textures. I think that might just work. Just in case anyone else would be interested in doing it. I'll...

I was wondering if it is possible to change the land textures on certain parts of the sim and if so, if someone could tell me how to do so. Or, if it is only allowed to change the textures on the whole sim. Greatly appreciate responses. Thank you.
