Re: Kitely welcome area: What does it need to include?
Keep it simple is a very valid point. I think keeping it lag free, and informative - maybe even a little entertaining - but mostly focused on providing easy access to the most common needs is the top priority. I really like the look and feel of the current plaza. I think it's a very impressive commu...

Re: Kitely welcome area: What does it need to include?
My take is perhaps a little different. I'd suggest we start with 'What makes Kitely special?' People who've come in are looking for basic info. They probably want to spruce up their avie. Meeting people and creating something are two good things to contribute to ongoing involvement. So I'd say, keep...

Re: subfolders when delivering an object in a prim?
Good point. Here's the problem. Click Buy - ok. Now because there are no folders. Open your inventory and make a folder called n Click this box which i'll use to llGive inventory and generate all the other top level folders and sub folders - but not nested because i'm not allowed to do that. Click t...

Re: I want to test the exporting function first
Thread jacking ... and after a request for KC's. Hmmm - it's a commentary on group chat spam expressed as an art project in text?

Re: subfolders when delivering an object in a prim?
I love the way the Kitely Marketplace does it - having the folders is infinitely better for my customers. But I'm oh so sad that you still can't just create a directory structure inside an object. I've read a little about various solutions for 'unpacking' but in the end it's tough to do ease of use ...

subfolders when delivering an object in a prim?
When I list an item on Marketplace I can sort things into very convenient folders, which is incredibly helpful for people working with scripts. But when i drop it into a prim for in world sales - meh, ugliness. Is there no way to give nested subfolders in world? Only in the marketplace?

Getting to know the 'unkown user' NPC's Non-Player Character
(The puzzling title is in part because NPC is too short a word to search threads) I've been working with NPC's for a bit now and have popped around and looked at various NPC's others have made. In virtually all instances, when the Kitely world has to 'spawn' for my benefit - because it isn't active ...

Ilan,
Does the system send any result back - identifying the llEmail is disabled? Just starting to think about how to handle different behaviors on different grids.
