Re: Arcadia's Scripts

= is a logic comparison (Boolean) if (A = TRUE) This isn't quite true, Snoots - it's a lot simpler than that[1]. Consider this code: integer b = FALSE; if (b = TRUE) llOwnerSay("huh?"); If = were a boolean comparison operator, you'd expect no output, but it prints "huh?". Why? The reason is that = ...

Re: Arcadia's Scripts

I think the other issue was this code in the touch_start() event:

Code: Select all

                if (spin==3){
                    spin==0;
                }
I'm a little surprised that compiled even in SL - the "spin==0" part should be "spin=0" (assignment, not comparison). Graham's version fixed that.

Re: Arcadia's Scripts

My first guess is that this line needs changing:

Code: Select all

 if (llDetectedLinkNumber(0)==11&running==FALSE) // touching backboard
That's assuming the backboard prim is link number 11, which might not be the case if the object has been relinked.

Re: Solution for Ctrl-Z Bug?

If it's any help, I remember encountering this bug in 2008 on OSGrid.

Re: Has something changed? Event timeouts

Many thanks, Oren. That will certainly go a long way to addressing this problem. I'm currently in the middle of implementing more queuing within the RezMela core code to lighten the load on the script engine at other crucial times, especially the loading of a large scene containing objects with dyna...

Re: Has something changed? Event timeouts

Thanks Oren. The issue is encountered during world startup as well as during normal operations. If the event timeout could be disabled during startup, that would go some way towards alleviating this issue. Something does seem to have changed - tests that once I would have once expected to succeed wi...

Re: Weefolk category at the KM listings?

Yes, I'm having a hard time trying to think of anything would be both "Information Management" and "Gadgets". "Business Tools" is a much better fit as a parent category.

Re: Weefolk category at the KM listings?

Hi Ilan. That's a very tricky question. We have a variety of products in development for different purposes, so it's hard to give an answer that adequately addresses them all. We're perhaps better focussing on each one individually when the time comes for marketting.
