Re: Sit With Eject at End
. Does anyone have a script that a person sits on and then after the animation cycle it ejects the person? . That isn't exactly an off-the-shelf script, for the following reasons. If the animation is looped there is no end to the cycle. If the animation is not looped there is still no way to detect...

Re: Moving Sidewalk Script Help
The Moving sidewalk uses a very simple method of moving - it simply pushes the avatar while they are "in collision" (touching) the walkway. Unfortunately the way that "push" works is it uses a calculated energy budget allocated to the script and that diminishes with each push. Then a pause ensues wh...

Re: NEED TRAVELING SCRIPT
If drift occurs over time that suggests that the script you mention is using relative offsets to move from one position to the next. Rounding errors would then cause drift. You could avoid that entirely by making your waypoints absolute sim coordinates and using llSetRegionPos instead of llSetPos. Y...

Re: Vehicles won't move when sitting or boarding
...We found problems with using vehicles. When sitting on a ship or balloon, no matter what script is used, and you try to move your vehicle ( with HUD, or with arrows on keyboard, does not make a difference ) it won't move at all. To solve the problem is moving the vehicle a little in edit mode, t...

Re: Respecting Intellectual Property
...ALL of my creations rely on scripts to function. So someone might copybot an avatar or a blaster... but all of the animations, gestures and functions won't work... Assuming your creations stay on the grid they were made on this strategy certainly should protect the complete functioning of your c...

Re: Yes we know..
What happened to start this latest horror is certainly not the path to any kind of peace. I cannot imagine the stress that must be involved living in the midst of that. This: ...My family and I live in the Tel Aviv area and have a fortified room in our apartment where we are protected from everythin...

Re: Respecting Intellectual Property
Tess has been very careful here to not be specific with names of those who are (rightly) suspected of being sources of copybotted material. Ilan, as the original poster, has made it completely clear that he doesn't want this kind of thing either going on in Kitely or being associated with Kitely. He...

Re: Tool for working with the system avatar
Please forgive if I'm asking something you have already gone over as my knowledge of Blender is practically zero. The file you refer to, avatar_lad.xml, is as you say readable, if somewhat opaque, but it refers you directly to avatar_skeleton.xml in the same folder. av_skel_xml.png In that file you ...

Re: We need alternatives to Paypal
This came up in discussions elsewhere recently about finding alternative payment systems in VR. https://www.circle.com/en/solutions-for-crypto-gaming Please don't be put off by the "Crypto Gaming" intro title but at least take a look at what is said, and perhaps go back to the root pages of the webs...
