Re: osForceDropAttachment not available
Would be glad to see the mechanics of a griefer script that would force drop a particular prim that does not contain it. Griefing would have been a problem if forceDropAttachment were able to target a particular attachment point .... :( will think harder and try to really understand the nature of th...

Re: osForceDropAttachment not available
Hi Dundrige, If I may ask, do you know which viewer supports RLV. Is it a mainstream viewer, is it more likely to be supported, updated etc... as frequently as a mainstream viewer? Thanks R Ok I did some googling, it's out for question for my audience. They cannot even get the kitely plugin to work,...

Re: osForceDropAttachment not available
Hi Dundridge, My view on 'osForceDropAttachment might be handy in a test or controlled environment, but in a production environment with lots of people and lots of scripts, it makes me nervous, personally I think the guys at Kitely are right to disable it.' is that I realize there will always be ten...

Re: osForceDropAttachment not available
Thanks for your input Dundridge. I just tried llAttachToAvatarTemp to on kitely to confirm that it is not available anyway. I believe it is not implemented in OpenSim yet, and don't think it will ever be because the other ossl functions allow anyone to implement it through scripting. I think it is t...

Re: osForceDropAttachment not available
It will just be dropped, not deleted. I personally think an inventory for a casual user is a bad design idea. It introduces steps that pulls users out of immersivity. Long debate. Results only available when you really spend time working with casual users. And besides, I cannot understand why forceD...

osForceDropAttachment not available
Hello, I see that osForceDropAttachment is not available in kitely. Is this because we are using an older version of opensim ..0.7.4 with postfix? I need it for the following: Many of my users will not use their inventories so am trying to force attach objects directly on them when they click specif...

Re: Error generating login response
Hello, just happened right now, twice consecutively. Just thought I would let you know. So when firestorm is launched, progress bars stay stuck at the beginning for a while, and then it does not login in, fields of the browser are populated, and clicking on login on the browser allows you to go in f...

Re: Error generating login response
Hello Illan, Happens randomly but often enough to be noticed. Started happening say since a couple of weeks. I wrote it off earlier thinking it is one of those rare events. And yes firestorm is not running when it happened. I never launch firestorm first ... I let the plugin do it. And that's how I ...

Re: Error generating login response
Hi Illan,
yes the error shows in the firestorm viewer.
I am just using firestorm for kitely right now.
I log into SL using their own viewer.
