Re: Bitcoins?
So there is a general consensus that, at least right now, Bitcoins volatility is a problem holding it back from mass adoption. I do follow the issue quite closely and I have not heard of any reliable tools for merchants managing volatility. If you do know of them, I would be interested in links to ...

Re: Bitcoins?
Fair enough, I'll admit to being uninformed about Bitcoin. So it's possible for me to own Bitcoins without being involved with one of these exchanges? Because it sure is possible for me to own US Dollars without being involved with any currency exchange operation. Absolutely - you download the Bitc...

Re: Bitcoins?
Despite IRS wanting to tax Bitcoin as property, I think most people think of it, and use it as currency. It is to an increasing degree used as currency in bitcoin to bitcoin transaction accepted as payment for both goods and services, but also for exchange to real currencies, between crypto currenci...

Re: Exportable items oddities between grids
OK, so I could solve it by giving myself a license (the person creator to my avatars which all have the same name in SL, OSG and now Kitely.) Since I mostly have mesh items with physics models the only reliable way of transferring them (without having to re-import and reassemble) is inventory to inv...

Re: Exportable items oddities between grids
Another question which is related... If I want to list items in the marketplace – items that currently exist in my OSGrid avatar's inventory, can I then give them full perm to my Kitely avatar and have him list the items? Or do they have to be fully re-imported via the usual mechanisms; alternative ...

Re: Bitcoins?
In March this year IRS made a statement that they would tax Bitcoin as property and not currency. This is probably where most western countries will land on the taxation issue, meaning bit coin is also legal and accepted. Many countries in Asia have outlawed bit coin and other crypto currencies, yet...

Add to that Virwox accepts bit coin that can be exchanged into Linden Dollars. https://www.virwox.com/?stage=1

Exportable items oddities between grids
Hi, I created an avatar here, Gavin Hird, and successfully logged in and got hold of my normal shape, and then headed back to my store on the OSGrid andwest sim to pick up the skin and eyes I usually wear. The eyes went fine and ended up in the My Suitcase folder (as expected) and could be worn. The...
