Re: Tools for finding a texture on a build?

This is going to be a bit long you may need alcohol or caffiene for this. First and foremost I want to thank Graham Mills for his script. It reduced ten years of working on a build down to 11,044 rows of Excel Spreadsheet nicely broken down into linksets and UUIDs. Example below: Fallingwater 2057: ...

Re: In Kitely Education

Selby I think you and Chris are on the right track. Simple reading alone is not the answer it is the interaction that in my former profession we called, "Winning hearts and minds." I think the videos would be the most important part, followed up by the facilitation piece, followed up by changing the...

Re: In Kitely Education

Selby Sorry for the novel you are about to receive, but, I'm going to have to disagree a bit on this one. I'm going to prefix this by saying I collect books and even my virtual house has a library. However, reading is almost a lost art (my Kindle bill might disagree). People skim, they skip, they ru...

Re: Free Animations

Chris
Avsitter is open source but since someone did the legwork I felt they should get a few bucks for it (as well as the donation). It saved me some time and worked perfectly out of the box. Now if I would just scroll to the end of my chat log before cutting and pasting....

Free Animations

Recently while building some furniture I needed a swimming animation. After a search for the right animation I ran across Animstreet. This is a former pay site that has now released over a thousand BVH files. If you register you have access to their very large database. I tried the beta of their sof...

In Kitely Education

I brought this topic up in today's meeting. I did not want to reinvent the wheel if there was already a process in place. There isn't. So.... One of the first things I learned in Second Life was that we work in the world of meters. For someone who grew up with feet and inches it was a startling disc...

Importing .TGZ Files

Recently I came across the Zadaroo website, which has several stored "free" worlds. They are stored as .TGZ compressed files. I am reluctant to try to load one of these to a Kitely world but the author claims that he got his assistance from Ilan Tochner. :) https://zadaroo.com/?page_id=1655 Are thes...
