Re: OPENSIM FEST COMING TO A CLOSE

Many thanks! I don't know about the hop address but I assume the equivalent map search would be grid.opensimfest.com:8022:hydrogen/125/231/23

PS the advent calendar is close to the NW corner grid.opensimfest.com:8022:hydrogen/65/248/23

Don't pretend to understand half of what's going on here but if you want to play around with PBR textures I found https://withpoly.com/ useful.

Unselectable objects

I have a couple of objects in an old oar I've recently revived. I don't recall what they were intended to be but assume they're mine as I don't think this build has ever been public. However, they don't appear to be selectable, editable or derenderable. If I try to edit them, I select the object beh...

Re: Vehicle Script

I know very little about vehicles but curious about this. Presumably you would be using either llSetPos or llSetKeyFramedMotion, probably the former, combined with osGetTerrainHeight to monitor terrain and llCastRay to detect prims. I may be wrong but it sounds laggy. Something like Supercar Plus is...

Re: In search of texture change on touch script for mesh

With the proviso that I've never tried this with mesh, I'd guess it's a matter of changing the texture on a particular face using llSetTexture (assuming it's not a linkset)? I guess some animated reveal or dissolve might be appropriate but that's the basics afaik. string hoodTexture = "1bw";//names ...
