Re: Removing an object you can't select/return/take
when I first set up a multi-region world in Kitely, I ran into a similar problem with a 2-prim tree that I didn't particularly like, LOL. In editing the object, I'd managed to distance the two prims by about 2.5 regions apart, and from there couldn't do much of anything with them, couldn't unlink, c...

Re: Kitely Market Categories and Attributes
First I'd like to say to all involved, you did an awesome job! The range of categories and attributes seem very inclusive and well organized. I do have one question though. If you were looking for NPC Scripts, wouldn't it be easier to find them under Scripts instead of Gadgets? If I were looking fo...

Re: Action NPC on Ohn Freebies World
One way around that would be to modify the script to track all NPCs... I have a little gadget that does that, I call it the NPC Multi Tool. It can detect and delete any and all NPCs in the region. You can poof individual NPCs or all of them in the entire region with just a click - VERY handy for th...

Re: Guidance on marketplace export to other grids...
That's perfect Ilan. TY
It means that cautious merchants, if they choose, can set permissions conservatively for their initial rollout. Then when new controls become available, can revise product permissions to take advantage of that.
That is really great! Thank you Ilan.

Re: Guidance on marketplace export to other grids...
Thanks Ilan. Perfect explanation. And I had absolutely zero expectations of this being part of the initial rollout. I just really like the idea of a trusted network, and especially that it might be feasible to make those fine-grain choices down the road. Another question :D When the marketplace goes...

Re: Guidance on marketplace export to other grids...
So say I have a car, and I set the permissions to copy/modify on the car itself, and set the scripts inside it to copy-only, and then set the Export flag to YES. This means that I allow the item to be exported to an OAR and/or allow Kitely to deliver the item to another grid. Once exported to an OAR...

Re: Kitely Market Categories and Attributes
Ah :) Didn't know that was where it was in the SL marketplace :D I have always made or had mine come as part of a package. They are scripted objects, that's why I was suggesting that they go in the Gadgets. The most typical pose stands are between 1 and 4 prims, one prim for the the little platform,...

Re: Kitely Market Categories and Attributes
Thanks Ilan. Makes plenty of sense, except maybe about the Pose stands, LOL. Those are really non-business specific gadgets.
