Re: am in virtual blender tutorial now...

Nice pic. It was a fun class - for me at least. We're trying this new format of a half hour for people new to Blender followed by open discussion with more experienced Blenderers. There really is only so much a person can absorb in one "class". Watching the screens of more experienced people can als...

Re: New projects

Good list. The web viewer is huge if the goal is to grow. Builders will work around the clunky viewers, but we can't entice new people in if they can't see and move around in the worlds from their browsers. Re: History Month in August

This sounds perfect for History Month! I'll add a portal gate for Quayside to the Week 4 area of the History Hub. Great project, Keith.

Re: VisionZ Hyperverse Magazine

I love reading the VisionZ issues. It's a great way to get new perspectives on the opensim metaverse. I used to travel around a lot more than I do these days, and there is a LOT going on out there! :D

Recording visitors to a Google spreadsheet

Aaron Griffiths has been posting some informative articles about how he creates worlds in Opensim. In a recent post, he outlines a method for recording visitors to a Google spreadsheet and gives the script and instructions. https://fxualeducation.wordpress.com/2016/08/11/opensim2google-spreadsheet/

Re: Hypertext presentation for 3D worlds: Web-walks

I saw Selby give a presentation in another grid using this system. This is an ingenious use of the tools we have here in virtual worlds. There's a lot of potential there for any use case where you want to give specific information to people when they stand in a specific place.
