Re: Export Perm: How Much Should It Cost?

Agree :) Great topic. Creator-merchants have my compassion. There are the costs of doing business that must go into the price of the product. Making a high-quality product can take from days to weeks to months to complete. It takes very real talent and can take many, many very real hours to accompli...

Re: Setting Newly Rezzed Objects to a Group

So far, in the viewers I've used there's usually options I can set for default preferences for objects you rez and upload. In my CoolVL viewer, it's under File Default Permissions. I can't remember where they are in Firestorm, though I seem to remember them being under the build menu. Anyway, one of...

I noticed that too. I was going to ask, but then the whole worlds down thing happened. The last high number I remember seeing was like 50 or 60 something.

Re: Your opinion needed: Maturity Ratings for avatar skins

I'm struggling with all of this, quite possibly without good reason. My activities are G-rated. At the most, my worlds would provide for Moderate-rated activities. Out of habit, I always set my worlds to Moderate. if you let certain things happen in your website then you may get into trouble with yo...

Re: Your opinion needed: Maturity Ratings for avatar skins

My thinking is basically inline with what Ozwell has said about policing. I think the biggest headache with Kitely going non-standard with rating policies is going to be people visiting via hypergrid, and anyone that comes here from SecondLife or any other grid. It will definitely be a cultural adju...

What does "Connection between viewer and destination region could not be established." mean? I've not seen that error before.
