Re: Airplane script that works on kitely
That's right, there are some in Quayside. The aircraft available to use have a fixed rate of turn, which makes them relatively easy to use, but not able to do aerobatics or complex manoeuvres. They work with ODE or Bulletsim, selectable through a switch on the instrument panel. They have a world edg...

Re: llCastRay a problem in 0.8.2.0
That is bad news. I found llCastRay not very usable, and was expecting good things from the new improved version.
Back to square one then.

Re: My public world is not public
The search picks up key words from your world description, but not the incidental words like "and", "of", "a" etc. If you search for "writers colony", or even just "writers" or "colony", or "writing", it will find The State of Writing. I think the search was designed to avoid people "gaming the syst...

Re: Slave (not the Gorean type) script
I would say the same as Graham.
If the doors are linked, when one door is opened or closed, it can send a link message for the other door to do the same.
Otherwise you can use a chat channel, but I think having them linked is simpler and safer.

Re: Riff Wav Format
I don't really know the answer, but the programs I use most for audio editing and file conversion are Audacity and Format Factory. The only problems I've had with uploading audio files have been if they're longer than 10 seconds, or the bit rate is too high, higher than 44100 Hz I think. Audacity is...

Re: PayPal's new policy
Good point.
They are signed up to some EU legislation, so presumably that would be the connection.

Re: PayPal's new policy
In my policy update, I don't see the part about phone calls either. Accessing the Paypal Legal Agreements from my account, I see at the head of the page "These legal agreements apply to users in European Union countries except Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Swi...

Re: Sitting on Temp Rez Object
I use a timer for vehicles. Without knowing about Temp Rez, I had chosen 60 seconds anyway as it seems about right. Gives you time to have a look before getting aboard, and time to get clear or get back on when leaving, before it disappears and dumps you in the sea or whatever. You can change the de...
