Re: Question re premium members and access to sims

Thanks, Ilan. Maybe that info should go in help on the Access tab on the website?
Ilan Tochner wrote:Hi Graham,

The inworld maturity ratings and the ones on the website are controlled by two different systems. I recommend you change maturity rating using both the website and the viewer-based tools.

Re: Question re premium members and access to sims

Well, I tried to set it to General and it shows as such in the owner panel but not on the map or land.

PS: I've converted Stuff to General as I'm 99.9% sure that's what it is -- and because City Life is M-rated. I'm not, however, suggesting Stuff should go in the showcase ;)

Re: Question re premium members and access to sims

Metered worlds are also a highly valued feature of Kitely as far as this educator is concerned. For example, I am currently (and for a few more days) running a 3x3 that is above my normal quota. However, when the class using it is over, I can archive most of it as an OAR and delete the world until t...

Re: Question re premium members and access to sims

I will put a teleport board on Stuff that links to City Life -- the shop based on Fleep Tuque's freebies is excellent for educators. Indeed, I would argue that folk starting avatars on Kitely will want to see freebie places in the first instance and consequently City Life or something similar should...

I remember the video but not the build. I'd say that Romenna on PMgrid runs it close: http://becunningandfulloftricks.com/201 ... cityscape/

Re: IMs going to email when inworld

Thanks, Ilan. Details sent by PM.
Ilan Tochner wrote:Hi Graham,

It would be helpful if you could PM me the identity of that avatar and the times the IMs were sent (you should be able to get them from the emails).

Where you both in the same world when this happened?

Re: IMs going to email when inworld

I should add that this happened consistently with one avatar IMing me (who saw me as offline) while IMs from a different avatar were handled as normal. PS I don't think it's related to a particular world either. I've seen this as well, and it happens to others. When I'm chatting with them, thy get t...

IMs going to email when inworld

I've seen this with both Singularity and Kokua. When someone using Firestorm IMs me inworld, the IM goes to email (which is the setting for when I'm offline). Anyone had this-- or just me? I was in the SW region of a 3x3 at the time.

Re: Mesh terrain

I haven't tried it (it's not available yet) but it looks like the upcoming Wolfram Language supports import and export of 3D file formats (.dxf, .obj that I could find) and may therefore render 3D terrains: http://www.wolfram.com/language/gallery ... ation-map/

Re: Things I have noticed...

Irrespective of nasty bugs or otherwise, I'm delighted to see you on Kitely so I can thank-you for one or your earlier OARs which I am using to house some of my own smaller builds. Many thanks and welcome back! :D
