Re: What do others think about kitely plaza ?

...so many different themes smashed together in one place, it feels sort of messy. It reminds me of being on mainland SL, where a sci-fi region is next to a victorian region, next to a race track. It's hard to get truly immersed in the victorian surroundings when a big space station is hovering ove...

Re: Help with setting up NPC tour guides

Interesting thread. I decided to get the OHN box out and sort the wacky issue of NPCs again. I tried to closely read the script and then to do a tutorial for my friends. I posted about it in roleplaying - other communities, because its an add on to another post I made last spring. If you want to tak...

Devokan Storytellers Note Part 2 - Storybuilding

To prepare for the Kitely Storyteller's Meeting Sunday morning @11 EST. Dragon's Teeth, I decided to prepare a little "sorting it all out tutorial" that utilized OHN's NPC script in combination with Furious Typer's NPC pathmaker script. Ohn's notecard is great, but I like to now why a script works o...

What Allen said. I would love to see how the system works. And I don't mind returning to your world to pick it up. I very much enjoyed it. Nice build and fun to walk/climb through. :)

Re: Unable export Eridani

You are a steady eddy Oren. Thank you and take the time you need. I am so far behind my own building schedule, I won't get back to it for awhile anyhow.

Unable export Celestial Toymaker Theater

I believe I have the same problem - tried to export at 6:42 am EST. In the past I successfully exported the Celestial Toymaker Theater, but the theater floor boards did not transfer. I am confused because, the boards and the floor textures were my own creations. When I asked Ilan about it, he sugges...

Re: Banner ad discussion

Thank you Graham for the clarification. I like to use animation in my builds and graphics, but I always think about those Blak Opal ads. ;) Nothing blinks -- I am not a buyer, with the exception of some building or gadget products. And yet I couldn't help but see the Blak Opal banner - simple, clean...

Re: Banner ad discussion

Although I decided not to participate in the mock up "contest," I am trying to follow these threads about Kitely promotion and Kitely Market promotion. It appears the brainstormers are discussing several types of ad campaigns at once, and I am getting confused. The banner ads are being discussed her...

Re: Revisiting the transfer station design

And thank you Ilan for bringing us Kitely in the first place. Its definitely a best of in my opinion. The vertex is working great, and its a great introduction to some very nice builds.
