Re: Virtually Human Building Tutorials Available now
Thanks again for the feedback Dot. Hopefully I can continue to develop a useful little training space for people who want to get started learning to build things.

Virtually Human Building Tutorials Available now
I've added my building tutorials (and some theoretical presentation decks on virtual worlds) to my ever-evolving region - Here's the direct link if you feel motivated to play. I've still got to set it up to enable limited building perms, but would love some early feedback - let me know if everything...

Re: Rotation translation?
Just an update for the archives. I fixed the rotation issue by changing the llCommand - the original script used llSetRot, and I changed it to llRotLookAt. This seems to fix the problem. No clue why it works in LSL but not in Mono - but i'm more pleased by the behavior of llRotLookAt anyway. (And ca...

Re: Mesh Limits
Seems like it must be in the hundreds of thousands based on online reading. I got impatient with a 50k mesh the other day and just optimized the model rather than wait for the analysis to come back from the server.

Rotation translation?
I've been working on porting a script which uses rotation dynamically to track motion from an avie in a sim. In LSL this works fine based on the following rotation AXIS expectations. // AXIS_* constants, represent the unit vector 1 unit on the specified axis. vector AXIS_UP = <0,0,1>; vector AXIS_LE...

Re: Kitely Mentors Group Meeting, 26 June 2013: summary
Can't you just rotate the *.raw file 90 degrees? Bake terrain in Region tools. Download the raw. Open the Raw in a graphics tool. Rotate it. Reupload the *.raw - seems like that would work wouldn't it?

Re: Is there an issue with bulk uploads?
Hello Graham and Ilan and thanks for the warm welcome. I suspect that the issue with bulk is related to a string input length limitation in the viewer and not Kitely - as I'd come to the same conclusion as Graham and tried uploading smaller groups of files. I had a few issues with Second Inventory -...

Is there an issue with bulk uploads?
Hello, New to kitely but not to vw. I'm getting a crash on bulk upload consistently in Phoenix viewer. Are there known issues re bulk uploads? Is it not allowed to upload images from free clients? Also had issues with image tearing and degredation when attempting to restore assets from Second Invent...
