"Wear Your Goggles to the Gold Rush" Launch

After 2 months of shoving this into that, and moving that over for this, the first Mount Bethel Mystery is launched. The instructions for how to participate in an immersion writing process are ready for use. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EwmGkMzv58Q/VAShctQUG_I/AAAAAAAABlk/xkBhJbZEbBM/s1600/Oakes_Valley...

I apologize in advance for any inconvenience. The work on the build and ...

OSCC14 (OpenSimulator Community Conference)

I so impressed with last year's 1st conference effort, I volunteered to help with the OSCC14 this year. For Kitely residents the conference (scheduled for November 8-9) should be more informative and easier to reach this year, because we can jump to the location through the hypergrid. One hop (teste...

Re: Photography/machinima contest (cash prizes)

I can see how wonderfully well this system would work for storytelling (ELA). Will there be an empty version of it available in the near future we can fill up with our own objects? Also, I am happy to see you are presenting the system at the OSCC14 conference. I expect I can get a lot of my question...

Re: Kitely will be down for a 2 hour upgrade cycle on May 18

I am being very quiet, but this is <whispers> great. Made my first purchase, and brought back my shopping bag with an item in it. Now I am setting out my potted plant. This will make life so much more colorful and convenient.

EDIT: Oren, Ilan you are indeed the smartest guys :D

Re: Are we building for nobody?

I build for one (1) potential visitor, explorer, reader. Every once in awhile I compile a collage to illustrate the progress of my storybuilds. The builds are in various states of completion and continue to evolve as I build. I rarely think of a build as being finished. With the luxury of 100,000 pr...

Re: Immersive Education Initative Keynote Fun

OK, I take back "egregious" -- it's not a word I often use anyway. I'm not looking for an argument and there's nothing personal involved. Hello again Graham: I didn't take your egregious personally :D . I only thought you felt strongly about the organization and that is perfectly fine with me. I fe...

Re: Immersive Education Initative Keynote Fun

Graham: One of the reasons I am not involved in SL education is that I grew tired of SL education and the outrageous costs associated with hosting any kind of education in SL. This is not to suggest my opinions align with IED purposes or objectives. My opinions of education in SL are entirely my own...

Immersive Education Initative Keynote Fun

Parts of the conference will be made available online, please see schedule. Edummersiveworlds.org (most builds housed at Kitely) has been a member for several years, way ...
