I'm having difficulty seeing mesh objects now. They are invisible. It just happened today.
I cleared my cache, but that didn't help.
I'm using Firestorm version 4.4.2.34167. ( No, I cannot upgrade my version of FS because it makes my graphics start flashing.)
Guidance would be appreciated.

Re: New Problem: Can't see Mesh
The recommended solution is to upgrade your viewer to the latest version. If you can't do that then try uninstalling it completely and reinstall the same version you're using now from scratch.

Ilan, that usually results in about 3 days of fooling around trying to get everything to work again. Is there some other alternative?
P.S. What has caused this?

Re: New Problem: Can't see Mesh
There are a lot of bug fixes in viewer updates. Some of them very important. Using old viewer versions is not a viable long term solution.
Regardless of the mesh problems you're having, I suggest you upgrade to the latest version of Firestorm for OpenSim: http://www.kitely.com/file?type=viewer
If this results in flashing then (in Firestorm) go to preferences > Graphics tab > General tab and make sure both basic shaders and atmospheric shaders are disabled. Upgrading your graphics driver to the latest version is also recommended.
The problems you're having may have to do with the recent upgrades we've made to how meshes are handled. They now rezz much faster but some old viewer versions may have problems with them.
