Scripted vehicles dissapearing!
So this is happening quite a lot, I have 2 scripted ferries, sometimes one of then is gone when i log into my Island, it is either gone completely or i find it lurking about at 0,0, I also have cable cars again one of these I have found either gone of lurking around 0,0, I even logged out and then back in again after a short pause only to find one of them missing again! any ideas?

Hi Lucy,
You'd need to include the scripts for anyone to be able to know why they are behaving as they do. One general suggestion would be to have the scripts listen to the region restart event and reset the vehicles position to your desired start position.

Apologies but I suspect the issues with the ferry are a result of my attempting to script in minimalist fashion. Ilan is quite right in saying that it needs to handle region restarts as well as events triggered by premature unsits (your other post). I'll try to have a look at it during the week.

I think you just answered a question in my mind about a little scripted robot I made. Hmmm. I may need to find a scripter who can help me with the region restart handle. I don't script.

All fixed now I think, a new friend hacked it about and now it just needs proving, thanks Graham.
