lagging horribly

For awhile Kitely seemed to be doing okay, but for the last week or so it's been lagging horribly. What changed? I've never had this since coming to Kitely. TPs are talking longer and when I get there I'm standing in the middle of an ocean for a minute. and that's if the TP works. Usually I time out and have to relog. Lately, like this morning, I'm only seeing every 3rd frame, so I move (when I can) like an old time movie, which makes it impossible to work. I cleared cache, turned down draw distance, and rebooted my PC with no improvement. Did Kitely make a recent change that could cause this? Anyone else having these issues?

UPDATE: I brought my Wolf Territories avi in there and no problems. Moving smoothly with no lag. So it's not my viewer. Am in Coopersville right now. At first I was moving fine, but the more I walk around, the choppier movement gets.... I TP'd to Cowboy Country (CC). Got stuck in a walking motion in the middle of an ocean, then kicked out.

Relogged into CC and moving smoothly again. ??????? But for how long? (forgot to mention that textures are rezzing in very slowly too) sorry...

Hi Fayre,

Nothing changed on our end. Please log into the Kitely Welcome Center and check your packet loss. Then please open your inventory, select an outfit that you wore in the past (not the one you're wearing now) and use the Replace Current Outfit menu option to remove all your current attachments and wear that outfit instead.

Once you do that please try visiting Coopersville again.

Have you changed your viewer draw distance lately?

I see you're using Singularity 1.8.9 and Firestorm 7.1.9. About a week ago you were using Firestorm 6.4.13 and Firestorm 6.6.17. I suggest you switch back to using Firestorm 6.6.17 as it's the last non-PBR Firestorm version and a version that will continue supporting Vivox voice. The Firestorm 7.x versions will soon become outdated and will switch to using webRTC voice that isn't yet supported on OpenSim. Another downside of 7.x is that since it supports PBR and OpenSim 9.2.2 still doesn't do so perfectly, you may encounter unexpected issues if your cache included some PBR materials that you may be encountering inworld in Kitely or other grids.
