Re: Inworld Permissions Editing Issues
Not sure if my problem is the same issue.
Objects are imported by Second Inventory yesterday (March 17), they were copy+mod in backup, with no scripts inside. Now in my Inventory are copy+mod (all of them), but rezzed inworld some of them are only mod, some of them are copy+mod. Same for Market, 3 of 4 are copy+mod, one is mod only.
In Market not published as http://www.kitely.com/market/product/35 ... -Right-Leg
I did not check it by rezzing inworld before I made copies, so now I have 18 products, where 3 objects are ok inworld and 1 is not ok. Do I need to find all "bad" objects and rez them and change perms, or there is another way how to deal with it?
Do I really need to rez and check every object inworld, imported/imported in OAR/uploaded/created (?), or is there some other way? I have uploaded hundreds of wearable objects yesterday...

Re: Inworld Permissions Editing Issues
Hi Zuza,
The permissions you see are correct. The item "TENGWYA chainy boots BLACK - Right Leg" has inconsistent permissions: as you've said, in the inventory it has CM permissions, but when rezzed it only has M permissions. That's because the object itself has different permissions from the inventory item, and when you rez the object's permissions are used.
This annoying behavior is standard in Second Life and OpenSim, and it's why it is recommended to rez objects before adding them to the market, giving them to other avatars, etc.
So I'm afraid that yes, you will have to rez all the objects and fix their permissions if needed. They simply have wrong permissions right now.

Hi Oren,
I am not happy about that, but anyway, thank you for your unequivocal answer:)

Re: Inworld Permissions Editing Issues
I still have prims on my world that I made totally myself that I don't have full permissions on.

Re: Inworld Permissions Editing Issues
Hi Sierra,
Did you make it inside Kitely or did you import it from another grid / sim-on-a-stick?

Re: Inworld Permissions Editing Issues
Did you make them by creating new objects or by copying existing objects and modifying them? (e.g. using copy-drag)

Re: Inworld Permissions Editing Issues
Sorry, Ilan. I have no idea. It's all the stuff that I originally talked about at the beginning of this post--the stuff on the world where you guys visited and checked out all the objects.

Hi Sierra,
Have you checked again after the HG build rollout?
