Built-In Avatar Pose Now Not Working

Post by Sierra Jakob »

Phoenix Firestorm has a built-in Avatar Posing tool that is absolutely invaluable to my work. I use this tool every time I work on modeling avatars or making clothing--so that means every time I'm in Kitely. This tool stopped functioning since the 3/21 update. It just doesn't do anything now. Can someone check on this? I'm having a really hard time without this. Regular pose stands don't even have the poses that I need, so, this is really important to me.

Hi Sierra, please note that the pose animations will not play on grids other than SL. After a quick use to test this new version of viewer i see that only "Arms down, Legs together" animation will work. I will look to see if i find a solution... i guess the viewer pose stand have behind and work on animation asset UUID and Kitely don't have that specific animation uploaded or if is, UUID is something else then viewer.

I'm using 4.4.2.34167.

I cannot use the later version(s) because they make my monitor flash wildly and try to kill my graphics card.

As I say, I used the poser tool daily in Kitely right up to a few days ago. All the poses worked perfectly. Now absolutely none of them work.

Hi Sierra,

Have you cleaned your viewer cache lately? It's possible that the pose UUIDs where cached in SL and then the viewer found them in your cache when you where in Kitely. Once the pose assets were no longer in your cache the viewer couldn't find them. If that's the case it's more than likely other people wouldn't have seen you posing when you did.

Please login to SL, use the posing tool then come back to Kitely and try using it again for the same poses.
