Thank you Selby, good info!
My question is actually about .xml files, but I went ahead and moved it to another thread...

We updated the system and particles now properly show their textures, including the default texture when no texture UUID is defined.

Ah, but if you exported something ages ago with Imprudence, and you are too lazy to go back to that old grid and export it again, then you have no choice but to log in with Imprudence.

You can use Imprudence with sim-on-a-stick to import the content into a locally run sim then back it up in an OAR file or use Firestorm's newer backup method to get it into Kitely. Imprudence still works with Kitely but I can't guarantee that will always be the case.

WOOT! Particles are working again!

Post by Kayaker Magic »

I stayed up late to see particles working again!
Most of my particle emitters were back to normal.
I had one that was still emitting white squares (it may have been started during the bad times). I turned it off and back on again and now it is working fine!

Thanks to Ilan and Oren! I'll bet they lost some sleep getting this working for us again.

Excellent - all working here too (after restarting the particles). Thanks for the quick response, Ilan and Oren.
