Unable to communicate after teleport

Im not sure if it's EVERY time an avi teleports or not, but very frequently, while conversing with someone via instant message, if one of us teleports to a different region and then back it seems as though we lose the ability to communicate. The person is online but message comes back with 'user is offline, message will be received when they log in'.
It has only been doing this the past few weeks.
This happened in IW after one of the updates not too long ago, not sure if its a bug somewhere within an update or not but the only way i can resume conversation is by finding them on a region and going to that region.

Does it happen between Kitely users and/or between a Kitely user and a user from another grid?

What viewer (and version) does this happen on? Have you encountered this problem on other viewers as well?

This is between myself and other Kitely users. It happens using the most recent Firestorm. It happens not just for myself but for at least two others that I have spoken to. Only since the last update it seems.

Sometimes when I TP, I lose voice. Regularly on HG, sometimes on Kitely. I cans usually fix it by toggling voice (turning it off and on). If 2 people are in conversation, they might both have to toggle even though only one did the TP.

Its happening with Kokua also.
Checked with some people at Freda's today and they have the problem also. Hopefully they can chime in with their viewer info etc also.

I can't pinpoint the common denominator - whether its that the outgoing messages fail with 'offline' error when the sender had previously teleported from the region the conversation initiated in or if its the other way around... and I dont recall it happening off grid but i dont travel off grid much.

Example. Friend and I are chatting. Both in Kitely. Both on Different regions.
Not sure who initiated the conversation first.
At some point, the friend teleports to a different region, and at some point, the messages I send are not going through and I get 'User not logged in' - so I check the map and when i see his green dot back on his own region I go there to where he is and messaging is fine.
One side of the conversation sends messages that seem to go through normally to the person sending, but the person on the other end can not send.

Can you pinpoint when this problem started? Does it happen when teleporting to/from the Kitely Welcome Center as well?

This sounds like the issue we discussed back in November, which still plagues me every time I have to teleport while an IM conversation is ongoing. The only solution seems to be for both parties to relog.
