Voice probs

Hi, I am trying to gather some info. If there is anyone else on Kitely who is having intermittent voice distortion using a usb mic? Intermittent means that voice is as clear as a bell for about 20 mins and then suddenly the speaker sounds like Darth Vader for about 5 mins and then it's back to as clear as a bell? If you are it would be very helpful if you can also mention if you are using a Mac and the latest version of Firestorm or ?
