I have tried everything I can find on Google and these forums to fix my avatar. Nothing works, can I get a new avatar? Would that work?

Might do. There are freebie avatars on Kitely Welcome Center and Stuff (to name two worlds).

Thankyou Graham, Yes, I had seen, read and done all that was mentioned. Still no change to my little cloud! Thanks

Have you tried a different viewer? There are 32 and 64 bit versions of Firestorm. And new versions were released this week. I found that the old 64 bit version of FS had a different problem rendering avatars.

Hi all and thanks for your help.
I completely changed my avatar and this helped until I logged on again. Then changed back as I went cloudy again.
Sadly, I'm over this buggy site. so cancelling my monthly land rental and moving on.
All the best and thanks again

Hi Rebecca,

I looked at our server logs and you changed viewers between logins (from "Alchemy Release 4.0.0.37571" to "Firestorm-Releasex64 5.0.7.52912" then to "Firestorm-Releasex64 5.0.1.52150" and then back to "Firestorm-Releasex64 5.0.7.52912"). As explained in the article in the other forums thread, switching between viewers can cause the cloudy avatar problem to appear and when that happens you need to repeat the steps that are required to solve that problem.

In other words, this isn't an issue with Kitely but is rather a known problem with how different viewers interact with OpenSim. If you don't switch viewers, or just repeat the aforementioned steps if/when you do, then you shouldn't encounter the cloudy avatar problem.
