Ilan will be unable to join us today, but there's still plenty we can discuss as a community.
Today's meeting will focus on community projects and events. Please post in this thread any projects or events you would like discussed at the meeting, and I'll try to put together an agenda.
The aim is to finish the meeting by 2:30pm PDT (90 minutes).

Re: Join us today at the Kitely Community Meeting (July 30)
Hi, wont be able to attend but here is some news on the theme
My 16 regions Virtual London 2077 will have free homes, venues and offices for People that wish to be part of this mega-project - a living usefull city to learn, work, leave and make friends - and people wanting to do huge events will be able to use for free some huge areas like Hydepark, Millenium Arena and many others, including rezzing many event stuff
It is a bit early to be able to show much but if you visit now there is, where you land, already a replica of a thames bridge to showvase how accurate and detailed it will all be
So Virtual London wants to help all of Kitely projects for free to be a major OpenSim reference - It will be a Means and not an Ends
Future Sponsors will pay for it but never the projects community

Re: Join us today at the Kitely Community Meeting (July 30)
Sounds like good topics for discussion, Dot. I cannot attend because I will be on a HG Safari tour. We got the group over here to see a couple of worlds and grid-hoppers asked questions about Kitely. I attended Freda's open mic and listened to Caledonia Skytower -- absolutely delightful reading of both another person's and her own work. Prax and I are managers of ArtWorldz (gallery that has 3 shows a year) in IW. Cataplexia Numbers owns ArtWorldz in a couple of worlds and also owns Alternate Metaverse which is now also on Kitely. She will be reading her poetry at Freda's in September. Maybe she would be interested in helping expand the arts here ...once she finishes uploading another 1000 items for the Kitely Market. Prax and I encouraged another of our favorite artists who also does steampunk and tiny creations. He is currently on Prax's world uploading his art to Kitely. We don't seem to have a tiny community on Kitely.
Prax and I co-founded and own the Community Library & Sendalonde Theatre in IW. We cannot bring the library here because it is a ton of work and we don't have the time or energy. However, Shandon Loring's Seanchai (storytellers) Library is in Kitely and I think that should be promoted. Prax and I strongly support the arts and literature.
Love Ozwell's plan to develop tutorials! I learned through the Builders Brewery on SL. Wonder if someone would have the time and energy to do something like that here. I expect it would only be for premium account holders unless the owner of the region can afford a fixed price world.
Competitions are great but a great deal of work for the coordinators and there is the issue of premium accounts only unless the coordinator will pay for regular or hypergrid accounts or a large fixed price world.
Okay ...those are my random thoughts.
