Continents & Mega Regions

Question from my friend who wanted to know will one day mega regions owned by more then one person be able to be combined into lets say 32 0r 48 and higher
as would be to many a Continent,
As question may be better asked if one day others here can merge worlds between owners to not so much as share a sim border but merge the worlds as a sharded larger world. Just a question if this might happen in future or is even possible as I have little knowledge of this things.

The way our on-demand system is priced requires worlds to remain separate. If worlds were allowed to be placed adjacent to one another then up to 4 different worlds may have needed to be activated for a single user when that user stands on a 4-world junction. This would significantly increase our operating expenses which would result in us being forced to increase our prices accordingly.

Thank you for fast Reply and I can see to be a very valid reason and costs also maybe if more demand later on that could be a paid option of some sorts in future
