I never have a problem with comments I can respond to. Guess you forgot you made them on another forum.

Marstol....any comments I make, anywhere, are never intended to be negative, unless they are directed towards one grid owner of one grid which anyone who knows me much at all knows about.

I support the Metaverse as best I can, in my own small way, and i often post silly and goofy comments, basically because my life sucks and i need a way to express a side i wish i could have in reality.

Nothing I ever say is meant to be harmful, negative, or to diminish what others do [with the above caveat]....pls understand this. I promote ppl, i dont do the opposite...i see absolutely no reason to play those kinds of negative games.

Coming from my own rl issues i am very aware of and always consider others have their own.

I also think the contributions others make, in whatever ways they do them, to the metaverse, and all its various parts, is wonderful.

I made a goofy comment on the kitely community, it was not intended as a slight against you, nor would i ever do that....i am goofy, but not given to insanity [at least i dont think i am insane, i could be mistaken]....

I think your summaries, and those of others are wonderful, and i do understand they take time to do, and you all do them freely....hugs ya

Finally took the time to read the OS chat log Ilan provided a link to at the meeting. I'm not very fluent in technicalease, so this is what I took away from it. Something about fat pipes, low hanging fruit, zipping things up? Was afraid I'd copied the wrong link for a moment. In between I gleened that every asset and attachment generates 1 http request for HG teleports. Not completely clear on what that would do, but it doesn't sound good.

Hi Marstol,

Hypergrid access currently creates way too many network connections between the visited sim and the avatar's grid of origin, therefore resulting in a lot of load on both servers.

so it is being addressed? I do know that sometimes hg works fairly well, sometimes not at all.

I never am concerned about it taking some time to jump as I figure that it can be done at all is pretty amazing..lol...
