So, I saw Ilan comment on https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/113904954 ... erid=gplp0 in response to someone discussing a matter. And, btw, it is a wonderful Community to join.

Ilan said that Kitely will be enabling HG within another month.

Since, as time goes, especially when you are just some old lady who is insane and only uses the Asylum's computer when they take the straight jacket off and reduce the meds, and is trying to escape reality in virtual reality [...not referring to myself, of course...gawd!!] this is a very short time.

Thoughts, anyone?

Yes, I regard Google Plus with the same level of enthusiasm as Facebook. :( Good news about HG though -- will the Easter Bunny be first through?

Well, all social mediums have the plusses and minuses...I don't use facebook but do use g+....however, I also found g+, as I am sure FB users find also, to easily get out of control, so I had to cut back a lot of what I initially was involved in there and it is much more easily controlled now. I also keep fiddling with settings to find a happy place-))

I look forward to HG being enabled here for several reasons.

1) I enjoy the freedom inherent with traveling wherever I wish.
2) I think many people who HG will find things in Kitely appealing, and I expect that, due to the pricing structure here, that many of them will eventually use kitely more in some regards.
3) there are many, many HG travelers who are uncounted in stats due to them being privately run standalone grids, who will enjoy adding Kitely to their places to visit.

I see it as a win-win for the expanding Meta.

The high level of tier and end of the educational discount led to a diaspora of educators from SL in 2011. With the advent of the HG I look forward to meeting more educators, seeing more educational builds and regions, and learning how best to use this wonderful medium for the benefit of students. Beyond that I hope ultimately that our students will meet, collaborate and compete with students from other universities on a global basis and share experiences that they can translate into the real world for the benefit of humanity in general. Or something like that...
