We started in the Kitely Welcome Center just a few minutes after 13:00 Pacific.
There was good, constructive feedback on the ongoing April Egg hunt, and a few more worlds may be joining in.
We then had a field trip to KWC Stage 1, starting at the landing area and pointing out the refreshed landscaping and tree planting.
Next we repaired to the coffee area to check Min’s menu-driven seating and to introduce Dundridge’s new graphical events board.
Then we walked across to the revised info area, with a push to join the Kitely Community group (and why) and to show Selby and Handy’s events Google calendar. Dundridge created a little sideshow by rezzing his world population board (but it won’t be included in this iteration of the KWC).
After a quick visit of the expanded Hall of Merchants, the meeting reconvened at the avatar area to check whether the female avie packs “worked” with the new G-rated skins done by Chav. (We still need to check the male avies.)
Chav is doing a bit more on the KWC avies, where the skin tones didn’t quite match sculpted feet.
Oopsee created a couple of tank tops that were added to the female avatar packs; these cover the white area on the G-rated skins. One is textured to match the current outfit for the Ivy avatar pack, the other can be tinted to a different colour by users.
Deuce offered to make some full perm tee-shirts that cover the white area (now received -- thanks, Deuce!).
Marstol offered to help make new photos for the avatar packs. She also took photos during the meeting and has posted them on Flickr and in a forum post Pix of the Kitely meeting & field trip.
The meeting closed at the 90 minute mark.
It was a good, useful meeting. Thank you, everyone who attended.
