Recently I noticed that lighting seems to have changed, affecting all presets. At first I thought maybe it was just me, but then Dundridge asked me if I had noticed it, so I assume it's affecting everyone. Lighting is very important to me. I can't seem to find settings that I like now--which is disconcerting and disappointing.
It's not my viewer--my viewer hasn't changed. Dundridge is using the most recent version of Firestorm, I believe, and still notices this change.
I don't know whether the lighting change was intentional or not. But whatever changed, is there some way to get lighting back to how it was a few weeks ago?

Re: Kitely Change Affecting Lighting?
Can you please give a specific example of a world and a lighting setting that don't work as expected?
If you can show an inworld image of how it looks in Kitely and how it looks in sim-on-a-stick then that would be helpful (if you do so please state what version of OpenSim that external sim is running).

Re: Kitely Change Affecting Lighting?
Sorry, Ilan. It's not that anything doesn't "work". It just looks different than it used to. I can't be more specific and pictures won't help. So if you are not aware of any change and no one else is complaining, I'll just get used to it.
Thanks for your quick response--as always.

Re: Kitely Change Affecting Lighting?
Is it possible that, in your viewer, you just changed the day light cycle ???
World/Sun/Estate or World/Sun/Midday ???
That surely affects how things look

Thank you Carlos. I'm afraid that is not the case here.
